Traditional Camps

July 20-26 will be focused on sports for all age groups.

A great opportunity for child and parent to experience camp together!

Beginners Camp
June 22-24

All our camps include a wide variety of activities such as crafts, swimming, worship, singing, hiking, cookouts, campfires and much more. Bible study is a key part of each day. Campers will learn how to live out their faith within their small family groups as well as the larger camp community. 

Beginners . Juniors .  Mid High . Senior High


Parent & Child Camp

This 3-day, 2-night camp is specially designed for the child that isn't quite ready to be away from the comforts of home and a parent or guardian for a full week. A 1 to 4 counselor to camper ratio assures lots of individual attention. Stroup House is where you lay your head for the week. It's a wonderful facility with built-in bunks and all the comforts of home.

For boys and girls entering Grades 1-3 - Limited to 18 of each per camp

Beginners Camp

This 3-day, 2-night camp is specially designed for the child that isn't quite ready to be away from home for a full week, but is ready to attend camp without a parent or guardian. There is also a 1 to 4 counselor to camper ratio for Beginners Camp. The Beginners stay in Stroup House as well.

For boys and girls entering grades 2 or 3 - Limited to 14 of each


                                      Junior Camp


Juniors experience a wide variety of activities. Responsibilities and challenges will help your faith grow as you tackle these challenges and learn to work in a Christ-centered family group. Junior campers also live in Stroup House for the week.

For boys and girls entering grades 4-6 - Limited to 14 of each per camp

                                        Mid High Camp


Platform tents with bunks house our Mid-Highs. The Mid-Highs, in addition to those listed above, also have the opportunity for other exciting activities, such as the low initiative challenge course, high ropes course, sleep-out on The Ridge and riding the rapids in the Pocono Creek. While younger campers are headed for bed, Mid Highs have special night activities.

For boys and girls entering grades 7-9Ninth graders have the option of attending Mid High or Senior High Camp. They may register with either age group. Limited to 7 of each per camp.
 

Senior High Camp
A new Twist for 2008 - Themes for each week

Senior High Weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4 will combine themed activities with traditional camp activities as follows:  Week 1, Leadership; Week 2, Multi-cultural; Week 3, Sports; Week 4, Mission. These themes are designed to add elements of personal growth, challenge and Christian service to the more mature campers' Kirkwood experience. Leadership will focus on Biblical models and modern leaders of faith. Mission will include a local mission partnership project. Multi-Cultural will offer insights into the rich fabric of our Presbyterian community. Sports will offer leadership as well as lots of fun and sweat. August 10-16 will not be themed.

For campers entering grades 10-12 -  Limited to 7 of each per camp
